Zell-Crete Fiber is added to Elastizell lightweight insulating concrete in
roofing applications to produce a premium concrete roof deck.
These fibers are a pre-wetted polyester with the correct specific gravity and consistency
to disperse throughout the low-density castings of the Elastizell cellular concrete.
The addition of the Zell-Crete fibers in either
a cellular or hybrid system improves tensile
strength, reduces cracking and helps insure
a uniform roof deck. Recommended usage
is typically 2#/cyd.
